Our Rooms

With an excellent central Magnetic Island location our quality hostel offers comfy beds in a clean, modern and secure environment. We have plenty of dorms available and some private rooms with ocean views for group leaders.

Our Facilities

Nomads Magnetic Island is the one and only place for the ultimate party with a 100% beachfront location, Our Kitchen is open for Breakfast, Lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Our Bar opens at 10am daily. The bar at Nomads Magnetic Island Island offers a range of different nights and parties 7 days a week.

Only a short walk to the town centre, there are direct transport options available and with a Cafe and Bar onsite everything you need for that weekend away is all in the one spot.

Passenger ferry: The ferry leaves from Townsville 12 to 19 times a day. This trip costs $32 return. When you get....

to the island, jump on the Magnetic Island bus and tell the driver you want express to our Nomads Magnetic Island Hostel – we are only 2 minutes away.

Car ferry: The car ferry is only a 2 minute drive from Townsville town centre. When you arrive at Nelly Bay Harbour turn left, past the supermarket. When you are driving along the road next to the beach, you will see the resort at the end of the stretch. You will recognise it as our nearest neighbour is 1.2km away.
